Job summary

Medius seeks a US HR Advisor to manage US employment law compliance, HR operations, and payroll/support processes for the US employee population. The role partners with global HR and payroll teams and supports onboarding, offboarding, and data integrity in HRIS systems (HiBob/ADP TotalSource).

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HR generalist experience across multiple US states, knowledge of FMLA/ADA/leave programs, I-9 and E-Verify, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of HR generalist or HR operations experience with working knowledge of US HR laws and regulations.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple US states, with working knowledge of wage and hour, paid leave rules.
• Hands-on experience completing and correcting Form I-9 and administering E-Verify, including internal audits.
• Exposure to working with PEOs (ADP preferred).
• Familiarity with 401(k) plan administration.
• Working knowledge of US leave administration (FMLA, ADA, state programs).
• Experience supporting payroll processing or reviewing payroll data for accuracy.
• Ability to work independently on day-to-day HR tasks with good judgment to escalate.
• HRIS experience focusing on data integrity (HiBob a plus); exposure to ER casework including PIPs.
• Communication proficiency & Results-oriented.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
• Display personal & corporate integrity.

Responsibilities

• US HR Support: ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; guide managers/employees on policies.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: manage onboarding/offboarding processes and system accuracy (HiBob, ADP).
• Compensation, Benefits & Payroll: assist with benefits, payroll accuracy, and data reporting.
• Compliance & Risk Management: monitor changes in US employment law and coordinate trainings/audits.
• Employee Relations & Support: act as first point of contact for US HR queries; support ER cases and performance processes.
• HR Strategy & Projects: contribute to US HR projects and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
• Global HR Support & Partnership: share US processes with global colleagues and align practices.
