Job summary

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team in Indianapolis seeks a CPA-qualified financial professional to manage journals, reconciliations, and month-end close for our US HQ. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.

You will collaborate with the US Financial Accountant to prepare financial reports, assist audits, and drive improvements in a manufacturing-oriented environment. Strong ERP experience (IFS) and detail focus are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA qualified or equivalent.
• High attention to detail.
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
• High resilience with experience in a changeable environment with competing deadlines.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS.
• Experience in an organization that conducts internal manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of periodic accounts, reconciling balance sheets and ensuring group reporting is submitted accurately and timely.
• Work alongside the US Financial Accountant to implement finance processes at our US HQ – aligning to those in our UK Operations and ensuring they are streamlined, scalable, accurate and documented clearly to be digested by other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with departments to gather data and verify financial transactions.
• Operate day to day accounting – assisting with billing, accounts receivable, expense processing, cost accounting.
• Assist with external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
• Support financial analysis activities to assist in decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal use and management review.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within financial processes.
