Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a detail-focused finance professional for the US HQ in Indianapolis to manage journals, data entry, reconciliations, and month-end tasks. You will support reporting, analysis, and process improvements while collaborating with the US Financial Accountant to align with UK operations.

The role requires CPA qualification or equivalent, strong US GAAP knowledge, and ERP experience (IFS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic accounts, reconcile balance sheets and ensure timely group reporting.
• Collaborate with US Financial Accountant to implement finance processes aligned to UK operations.
• Collaborate with departments to verify financial transactions.
• Operate day-to-day accounting including billing, accounts receivable, and expense processing.
• Assist with external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
• Support financial analysis to aid decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal use and management review.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in financial processes.

This role reports on our US HQ’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. In this role, you will manage financial journals, data entry, reconciliations, and assist with month-end processes. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing financial reports and perform analysis to support decision-making.

• Contribute to the preparation of periodic accounts, reconciling balance sheets and ensuring group reporting is submitted accurately and timely
• Working alongside the US Financial Accountant to implement finance processes at our US HQ – aligning to those in our UK Operations and ensuring they are streamlined, scalable, accurate and documented clearly to be digested by other stakeholders
• Collaborate with departments to gather data and verify financial transactions
• Operate day to day accounting – assisting with billing, accounts receivable, expense processing, cost accounting
• Assist with external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
• Support financial analysis activities to assist in decision-making
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal use and management review
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within financial processes
