Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced attorney to provide comprehensive legal advice for fiduciary matters and corporate governance across U.S. legal entities.

You will mitigate risk, lead regulatory filings, and counsel the Country Holding Officer along with senior management on governance and strategic legal issues, including M&A and licenses. Ideal candidates hold a JD with nine-plus years in corporate/commercial law, strong negotiation skills, data privacy knowledge, and experience with government

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school with active bar admission.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
• Experience in multinational manufacturing or top-tier law firms preferred.
• Strong governance, compliance, and regulatory expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead fiduciary duties, corporate governance, and regulatory filings for U.S. entities.
• Advise senior management on governance, compliance, risk, and strategic legal matters (M&A, licenses).
• Oversee integrity investigations, government contracting compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and certifications.
• Provide cross-functional legal support on contracts and shared legal entity matters; supervise paralegal staff.
