Job summary

Novartis is seeking a senior strategy leader based in East Hanover, NJ to own the US commercial enterprise strategy and guide execution across the organization. The role links market dynamics with portfolio priorities and leads a core team to translate strategic choices into actionable plans.

You will partner with senior leaders to synthesize market and competitive insights, shape the US strategic agenda, and ensure alignment to enterprise priorities with a measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Advanced degree (MS and/or MBA) preferred.
• 12+ years in corporate/ commercial strategy, pharma/healthcare strategy, or related fields.
• Ability to synthesize ambiguous data into strategic choices.
• Executive-level communication and facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of US Commercial strategic agenda and enterprise narrative.
• Frame strategic options for US LT decisions with structured analysis and financial implications.
• Coordinate functional strategy alignment across therapeutic areas and enabling functions.
• Lead enterprise strategy projects requiring high-quality problem framing and recommendations.
• Coach team members and raise the quality of strategy work across the pillar.
