Novartis in the United States seeks an Executive Director, Product Strategy Lead to drive integrated product strategies for a key indication, under the GM for Product or Portfolio. The role is located at the Cambridge, MA site or East Hanover, NJ site and requires up to 20% travel.

You will lead resource allocation across Marketing, Sales, Patient Support, Market Access, Insights and Decision Science, and Medical to maximize product impact, while shaping the full P&L and enterprise decisions

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting industry including cross-functional roles
• 3+ years direct responsibility for large budget management
• 3+ years leading and translating an integrated product strategy requiring global and local alignment
• US market, launch and product lifecycle experience or GM experience in other countries

Responsibilities

• Define critical integrated priorities and KPIs for assigned product/indication in consultation with cross-functional team under GM
• Lead, measure and take decisive action against KPIs on the integrated product strategy to raise impact
• Contribute to the P&L of a product/indication while enabling partner functions to manage day-to-day resource management
• Contribute to topline results as an outcome of strategic choices
• Coordinate integrated cross-functional resource allocation to deliver highest impact
• Establish and coordinate management of KPIs across functions accountable for the integrated product strategy
• Partner with functional heads in trade-off decisions
• Collaborate with other general managers for enterprise decisions including potential trade-offs between products/indications
