Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Director, US Strategy Engagement Lead based in East Hanover, NJ. The role directs day-to-day strategy engagements within US Business Strategy, translating pillar leads into structured projects, aligned stakeholders, and executable recommendations.

You will own engagements in US commercial enterprise strategy, annual/quarterly planning, market synthesis, and decision options, with responsibility for workplans, synthesis, and handoffs to ensure executive quality results.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Preferred: Advanced degree (Master of Science and/or MBA).
• 8+ years of consulting, corporate strategy, commercial strategy, or related pharma/healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of strategic framing, issue trees, hypotheses, opportunity sizing, and US commercial enterprise strategy narratives.
• Coordinate inputs and test whether functional plans ladder to US priorities.
• Synthesize market, customer, competitor, policy, portfolio, financial inputs into strategic choices.
• Prepare LT-ready recommendations, strategic options, and trade-off narratives.
