Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking an Executive Director, Product Strategy Lead to drive integrated product strategies for a US indication from Cambridge, MA or East Hanover, NJ, with 20% travel and strong leadership of cross-functional teams.

The role oversees P&L for the product, partners with marketing, market access, and medical teams, and requires extensive leadership across global and local units to accelerate patient impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting with cross-functional roles
• 3+ years direct responsibility for large budget management with trade-off decisions
• 3+ years leading and translating an integrated product strategy with global and local alignment
• US market experience or GM experience in other countries

Responsibilities

• Define integrated priorities and KPI measures with cross-functional team under General Manager leadership
• Lead measurement and decisive action on KPIs to raise product impact
• Contribute to product/indication P&L and manage resource allocation across functions
• Influence top-line results through strategic choices and portfolio decisions
• Coordinate cross-functional resource allocation to deliver maximum impact
• Establish and coordinate KPI management across all functions
• Partner with functional heads in trade-off decisions and with other GMs for enterprise alignment
