Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a US Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial strategy for the US Commercial organization. Based on-site in Deer Park, IL, you’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, and Service to drive profitable growth through rigorous performance management and insightful analytics.

You’ll supervise pricing governance, margin analysis, and customer profitability, building business cases for strategic initiatives and territory optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business analysis.
• Strong understanding of orders, revenue, pricing, profitability, and customer performance metrics.
• Experience analyzing business performance and influencing decision-making with data-driven insights.
• Proven ability to partner with sales/commercial leaders in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills translating financial data for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial leadership to manage reporting and KPIs across orders, revenue, funnel, pricing, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead pricing, margin, and customer profitability analysis to optimize growth and maintain competitiveness.
• Provide financial oversight of investments, including incentive programs and marketing initiatives.
• Support month-end/quarter-end reviews with variance analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop business cases and analyses for strategic initiatives like territory optimization and resource allocation.
