Job summary

Ladders is seeking a US Chief Compliance Officer to lead the compliance framework for a fast-moving payments environment. This remote leadership role will own the US compliance program and partner with business leaders to ensure products, controls and operating practices meet US and Canada regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep regulatory experience, a proven ability to engage regulators, and the skill to translate complex requirements into practical business guidance for

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in regulatory compliance within financial services
• Proven track record managing compliance for US card programs and embedded payment products
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as BSA/AML, Reg E, and UDAAP
• Experience drafting and implementing compliance plans and policies
• Ability to advise on regulatory impacts to business products and expansion
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience interacting with financial services regulators

This remote leadership role will own the US compliance framework for a fast-moving payments environment, with accountability for regulatory readiness across the US and Canada. The position will partner closely with business leaders to support growth while ensuring products, controls, and operating practices remain aligned with applicable financial services obligations. The right candidate will bring deep experience navigating complex regulatory requirements, engaging with regulators, and translating compliance considerations into practical business guidance.

Compensation: $180,000 – $270,000 annually
