Job summary

OnHires clients seek a senior BSA/AML compliance officer for their US Money Services Business. You will own the programme, reporting to the Board and coordinating with the Global CCO to ensure robust controls across policy, monitoring, SARs, and sanctions.

You will drive examinations readiness, implement AI-enabled risk workflows, and act as a fast, credible partner to Product and Operations, with independence in decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in BSA/AML compliance within US-regulated financials.
• At least 3 years as a designated BSA Officer or equivalent with filing authority.
• Hands-on programme ownership in crypto or fintech MSB contexts.
• Deep knowledge of 31 CFR Parts 1010 & 1022, SAR/CTR, Funds Transfer Rules, MSB registration.

Responsibilities

• Own BSA/AML and OFAC programme including policies, risk assessment and training.
• Monitor fiat and on-chain activity; maintain investigation standards and case docs.
• Draft, approve and file SARs within a 30-day window; perform ongoing reviews.
• Oversee sanctions screening across customers, wallets, and geolocations.
• Handle information requests (e.g., 314(a)/(b)) and regulatory inquiries.
• Assess customer/partner risk (KYC/EDD) and manage high-risk relationships.
