Job summary

OpenKrill is seeking a senior BSA/AML and OFAC expert to serve as the designated BSA Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for its US Money Services Business. You will report to the Board and collaborate with the Global CCO to maintain an examination-ready program.

You will own the US programme, oversee policy, monitoring, SAR filing, and regulator interactions, and partner with Product and Operations to enable growth while maintaining strict controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years BSA/AML experience in a US-regulated financial institution.
• At least 3 years as designated BSA Officer with filing authority.
• Hands-on programme ownership in a crypto exchange or crypto-native MSB.
• Fluent professional English with regulator-facing writing.
• US-based and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BSA/AML and OFAC programme, risk assessment, training and governance.
• Monitor fiat and on-chain transactions; document investigations and outcomes.
• Draft, approve and file SARs within 30 days.
• Oversee OFAC screening, match adjudication and reporting.
• Handle 314(a)/(b) requests, subpoenas and law-enforcement inquiries.
• Manage KYC/EDD standards and vendor due diligence for analytics.
• Review new products for BSA/OFAC impact before launch.
• Coordinate examinations, independent reviews and remediation actions.
