Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a VP, US Brand Head - IPF/PPF to lead the US launch and brand strategy for a $4B+ portfolio. Based in Ridgefield, CT with hybrid work 2–3 days on-site, you will direct cross-functional teams and ensure execution across marketing, medical affairs, market access, and program leads.

You will own US brand P&L, set forecasts, budgets, and strategic objectives, aligning global priorities with US market needs while maintaining compliance and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or science required; MBA/graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of pharmaceutical/healthcare experience across marketing, sales, or consulting.
• US launch experience required, minimum 1 year in US market.
• Strong understanding of US market dynamics and regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business plans, manage budgets and timelines.
• Eight+ years of people leadership experience.
• Rx brand marketing experience in the US is required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with collaborative leadership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Co-create and execute a comprehensive US brand launch strategy.
• Provide strategic leadership for US Brand Team across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Program Leads.
• Own US brand P&L, including revenue forecasting and budget management.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment and risk mitigation for launch readiness.
• Collaborate with Global teams to align US strategies and execution.
• Deliver performance metrics and sustain a high-performance culture.
