Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in Urology for outpatient settings in Brooklyn/Manhattan. You will perform renal, bladder, prostate, and small-part exams, prepare impressions, and communicate results to onsite urologists while maintaining equipment and following all radiology policies.

Candidates should have ARDMS certification, a college degree (Bachelor's or Associate’s), and at least 2 years of relevant experience; urology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Urology ultrasound experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of urology ultrasound exams (renal, bladder, prostate and small parts) in outpatient settings.
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate results to on-site urologists.
• Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
• Review lab protocols; expedite emergent tests when needed.
• Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
• Follow radiology policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
