Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking a Float Ultrasound Technologist - Urology to perform a range of outpatient urology ultrasound exams, including renal, bladder, prostate and small parts, in Brooklyn/Manhattan.

The role requires ARDMS certification or an accredited ultrasound program, plus 2+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred. NYI offers comprehensive benefits and a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or ARDMS certification.
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Urology ultrasound experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting.
• Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists.
• Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
• Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.
• Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
• Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.

Job Description: Float Ultrasound Technologist - Urology

Location: Brooklyn/Manhattan, NY

Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm)

In This Role, You Will:

• Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting
• Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists
