New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specialized in Urology for outpatient settings in Brooklyn/Manhattan. You will perform renal, bladder, prostate, and small-part exams, prepare impressions, and communicate results to onsite urologists while maintaining equipment and following all radiology policies.

Candidates should have ARDMS certification, a college degree (Bachelor's or Associate’s), and at least 2 years of relevant experience; urology experience is a plus.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Urology ultrasound experience is a plus.

• Follow radiology policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Description

Ultrasound Technologist - Urology

Location: Brooklyn/Manhattan, NY

Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm)

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting
• Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists
• Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance
• Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited
• Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
• Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills

We Require

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
• ARDMS (AB) certification required
• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Urology ultrasound experience is a plus
