Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking an Ultrasonographer in New York to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging across various specialties. The role includes image capture, measurement, and preliminary reporting under physician supervision.

The position requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sonography, RDMS certification, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience as an Ultrasonographer. Travel is local and a professional office environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in sonography from an accredited school.
• Current RDMS certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasonographer.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician instructions; prepares equipment and settings; explains procedure to patient and records relevant medical history.
• Applies gel and operates ultrasound equipment to generate diagnostic images for interpretation by a physician.
• Views images, selects representative frames, and records measurements and preliminary findings.
• Maintains patient records and ensures equipment safety and quality standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned and adheres to safety policies.

Education
