United Medical Systems in Tucson, AZ, is hiring a Urology Scrub Technician to support OR procedures and laser-assisted urology surgeries. You will prepare and sterilize equipment, assist the urologist, maintain inventory, and ensure HIPAA/compliance in daily logs.

This role requires scrub tech certification and relevant OR experience, with preference for urology and Holmium laser familiarity. We offer competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance,

Qualifications

• Prior OR experience preferred.
• Urology experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an operating room setting.

Responsabilités

• Perform procedures following Laser protocols.
• Set up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR before procedures.
• Assist Urologist during ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes prior to start.
• Submit logs per HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of cystoscopy equipment and supplies.
• Notify facilities of schedule and start times.
• Maintain after-hours contact for equipment issues and cancellations.
• Maintain relationships with physician partners.
• Update and review Policies & Procedures manuals.
• Ensure equipment is clean and transported properly.
