Spencer Britt in Pullman, WA seeks a Physician Assistant to join its Urology team. This full-time, on-site role supports patient care, develops treatment plans with physicians, and conducts comprehensive assessments in compliance with standards of care.

The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with responsibilities including prescribing medications, ordering tests, and coordinating care with nursing staff. WA licensure and PA license board eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Requires WA PA licensure in good standing.
• Board-certified or board-eligible PA.
• Ability to perform required clinical skills for PA/NP.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care within standard of care for Urology patients.

Seeking Physician Assistant to join talented Urology team in Pullman, WA.

Work Schedule for this Position: Anticipating Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

• Work with the healthcare team to provide patients with medical care services within the standard of care for Urology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic tests, and refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
• Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
• Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
• Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help treat the health issue they are experiencing.
• Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
• Adhere to organization and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Maintain NP or PA licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
• Board certified or board eligible NP or PA.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform the required technical skills for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
