Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Urology Clinic. The role offers a base pay range of $125,000.00-$150,000.00 annually and a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule.

You will diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with the care team to deliver high quality patient care. The ideal candidate holds NP or PA licensure in Washington, is board certified or eligible, and demonstrates strong clinical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Maintain NP or PA licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
  • Board certified or board eligible NP or PA.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform the required technical skills for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to technology.
  • Initiates and participates in activities that enhance daily operations of the clinic and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the healthcare team to provide patients with medical care services within the standard of care for SPECIALTY patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
  • Order laboratory and diagnostic tests, and refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
  • Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
  • Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help treat the health issue they are experiencing.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • Adhere to organization and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $125,000.00-$150,000.00 Annual however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Position Overview:

This position provides high quality medical care by examining patients and determining the appropriate treatment plans illness or injuries. You will provide comprehensive care, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

A Day in the Life:
