Job summary

Britt Medical seeks an APRN or PA to join our Urology team in Pullman, WA. The role supports patient care from evaluation to treatment planning in a collaborative environment.

You'll work with physicians and staff to manage patient flow, order tests, interpret results, and educate patients on medications and lifestyle changes. Monday through Friday 8am–5pm with standard benefits apply.

Qualifications

  • Maintain NP or PA licensure in good standing in Washington.
  • Board certified or board eligible NP/PA.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform required NP/PA clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care per the standard of care for Urology patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans.
  • Perform patient assessments including history, exams and diagnostics.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
  • Order labs and diagnostics and refer to specialists as needed.
  • Analyze results and propose treatment options.
  • Discuss side effects and allergy considerations with patients.
  • Advise on lifestyle and diet changes to improve health.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing and support staff activities.
  • Adhere to policies, quality and safety standards.

Job description

Seeking APRN to join talented Urology team in Pullman, WA. Work Schedule for this Position: Anticipating Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

  • Work with the healthcare team to provide patients with medical care services within the standard of care for Urology patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans.
  • Conducts thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
  • Order laboratory and diagnostic tests, and refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
  • Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
  • Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help treat the health issue they are experiencing.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • Adhere to organization and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
  • Maintain NP or PA licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
  • Board certified or board eligible NP or PA.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform the required technical skills for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
