Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with collaboration across nursing and support staff to ensure high‑quality outcomes for patients in a community hospital setting. Candidates must hold WA licensure and be board certified or eligible.

Qualifications

• Maintain WA NP/PA licensure in good standing.
• Board certified or board eligible NP or PA.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform the required clinical skills for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the standard of care for Urology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
• Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose conditions and propose treatments.
• Discuss potential side effects of medications and ensure allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing.
• Provide lifestyle and diet advice to support health.
• Direct and coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Seeking Physician Assistant to join talented Urology team in Pullman, WA.
Work Schedule for this Position: Anticipating Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

• Work with the healthcare team to provide patients with medical care services within the standard of care for Urology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop treatment plans.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic tests, and refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
• Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
• Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
• Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help treat the health issue they are experiencing.
• Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
• Adhere to organization and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Qualifications
