Job summary
Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG) seeks an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Urology/Multi-Specialty team. You will evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions, assist with inpatient rounds, and coordinate with the outpatient urology practice to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s from accredited program.
- PA: Graduation from accredited PA program.
- Active Maryland license or ability to obtain.
- Current DEA and Maryland CDS licenses.
- Current BLS certification.
- Unrestricted license with no suspensions.
- Eligible for participation with all payers.
Responsibilities
- Respond to urology/gastroenterology/general surgery consultations from ED and inpatient services.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams for acute/chronic urologic conditions.
- Collaborate with urologist to develop diagnostic and treatment plans.
- Assist in inpatient rounding, postop care, discharge planning, follow-up.
- Coordinate with outpatient urology practice for continuity of care.
- Maintain documentation in EMR and participate in QA initiatives.
