Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG) in Frederick, MD, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join a growing urology program. This role offers a broad spectrum of general urology care with strong patient volumes and collaborative team support.

You will work with experienced physicians, APPs, and staff to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care, while benefiting from a productive practice model and access to hospital, ambulatory, and diagnostic resources within

Qualifications

• Maryland medical license active or able to obtain
• DEA license current
• Maryland CDS license current
• BLS certification current
• Unrestricted license with no suspension history; eligible for payers

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of urologic conditions
• Medical and surgical management of common and complex urologic disorders
• Perform office-based urologic procedures and diagnostic services
• Perform inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures within training and scope
• Provide inpatient consultation and participate in urologic call coverage
• Collaborate with primary care, hospitalists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists
• Work with APPs and staff to optimize patient access and continuity of care
• Participate in quality improvement, care standardization, and patient safety initiatives
• Support growth and development of urology services within Frederick Health
• Participate in coverage models to ensure efficient services

Education

Maryland medical license
