Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG) seeks a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our multi-specialty team. Practice at the top of your license in a collaborative setting, delivering high-quality care across hospital and outpatient communities.

The APP will work closely with physicians, contribute to quality improvement, and support care coordination with a strong focus on patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education and licensure as nurse practitioner or PA.
• Active Maryland license and DEA/ CDS licenses.
• Current BLS certification; unrestricted license and payer eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care with histories, exams, diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Counsel and educate patients and families with clear, compassionate communication.
• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings for continuity.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and consults with focus on quality and safety.
• Participate in quality improvement and workflow enhancements.
