Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG) seeks an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a full-time hospital-based clinical role in Urology/Multi-Specialty. The APP will collaborate with urologists and hospital teams to manage acute & chronic urologic conditions, participate in rounds, and coordinate inpatient to outpatient care.

Licensure in Maryland, DEA, CDS, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN/NP/PA licensure and registration as applicable
• Experience in multispecialty or cross-specialty clinical settings preferred
• Active Maryland license or ability to obtain; DEA and CDS licenses required

Responsibilities

• Respond to and evaluate hospital-based urology, gastroenterology, and general surgery consultations
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams for acute and chronic urologic conditions
• Collaborate with urologists to develop diagnostic and treatment plans
• Order and interpret labs and imaging in coordination with the urologist
• Provide inpatient rounding, postoperative care, discharge planning, and follow-up coordination
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
