Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision, assist with procedures, maintain exam rooms, and ensure smooth clinic operations. The role combines clinical tasks with patient intake and administrative duties to provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–1 year experience in a medical practice or externship required.
• Any relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with non-invasive medical procedures and vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Manage patient intake, including test results and triage as directed.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Perform administrative duties: pre-registration, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and communications.
• Support a courteous, efficient clinical workflow and patient service.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educate patients on medications and health topics.
