Job summary

Integrated Medical Professionals PLLC is seeking a Medical Assistant - NY to support urological services. You will perform administrative and clinical tasks, collaborate with physicians and staff, and help ensure efficient patient care delivery in a busy office setting.

The role involves phlebotomy, vitals, room setup, chart updates, and coordinating patient flow. A Medical Assistant credential or equivalent experience is required; no weekends or evenings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in healthcare systems operations such as EMR, Practice Management Solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform well in stressful situations.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule appointments with physicians and staff.
• Greets and prepares patients.
• Measures and records vital signs.
• Records patient interview and history.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection of lab specimens.
• Performs basic lab tests.
• Assists physicians with exams.
• Handles setup for in-office surgical procedures.
• Maintains patient logs for lab requests, CT scans and other treatment orders.
• Ensures proper hand off of responsibilities once their task is completed.
