Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year clinic experience required.
• Urology experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in triaging patients, phlebotomy, injections, obtaining vitals, and processing specimens.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Escorts patients to rooms, takes vitals, collects urine specimens, and performs dip/urinalysis with review as indicated.
• Triage patient calls for pharmacy requests and test results, document outcomes in EHR.
• Maintains logs/records for OSHA/MOSHA and adheres to sterilization/disinfection practices.
• Follows bio-hazardous/waste disposal policies.
• Greet patients/visitors in person or by phone.
