Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or MA training certificate required.
• Two+ years MA experience in a large healthcare system preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, universal precautions, and body mechanics.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and work in a team.
• Experience with online scheduling and billing processes.
• Excellent communication and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Back office medical assistant duties including equipment management and environmental care.
• Appointment scheduling, patient check-in, authorizations, billing and supply management.
• Operate back office medical equipment (scope processor, uroflow, bladder scanner, EKG).
