Washington University Medical Campus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Urologic Surgery department. The role blends administrative and clinical duties, including liaison work, patient education, documentation in Epic, and potential hands-on patient care.

The position requires MO and/or IL LPN licensure, BLS certification within one month of hire, and a willingness to cover both administrative and clinical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in MO and/or IL (depending on location).
• Basic Life Support certification required within 1 month of hire.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsabilités

• Acts as liaison between physicians and patients, fielding calls and coordinating referrals.
• Schedules tests and procedures; coordinates with inpatient and outpatient nursing staff and physicians.
• Documents in EMR accurately and assists in examinations, procedures, and labs.
• Administers medications per state and facility guidelines and supports patient care plans.
