Job summary

Urology Clinics of North Texas is hiring experienced Certified Medical Assistants to support physicians and APPs across Flower Mound, Grapevine, Carrollton, and Fort Worth clinics. Expect clinical duties, patient flow management, and documentation within the EHR, with travel between sites as needed.

You will perform injections, blood draws, specimen handling, and assist with exams and procedures while maintaining a professional appearance and adherence to OSHA/CLIA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Maintain understanding of urology terminology, meds and instruments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, parents, coworkers and providers.
• Able to multi-task and follow established procedures with discretion.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in scrubs at all times.
• Travel between Flower Mound, Grapevine, Carrollton and Fort Worth clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to physicians and APPs during patient care.
• Open and prepare clinic, manage patient flow and exam rooms.
• Take and document vital signs, draw blood, injections and catheterizations.
• Assist during exams and procedures and prepare lab specimens.
• Document all actions in the EHR and manage communications with patients.
• Process prescriptions, prior authorizations and lab orders as needed.
• Maintain OSHA and CLIA compliance and keep supplies stocked.
