Job summary

Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and APPs in delivering patient care. You will help exams, handle specimens, vital signs, injections, and medication management while maintaining documentation in the EHR and ensuring high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, scheduling surgeries, and maintaining OSHA/CLIA standards.

Qualifications

• CCMA certification with CEUs.
• Experience with specimen collection, vital signs, urinalysis, injections.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• HIPAA and patient privacy knowledge and adherence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for and assist providers with exams and procedures.
• Perform specimen collection, vital signs, urinalysis, injections, phlebotomy, and catheterization as needed.
• Document all MA workflow in the EHR templates.
• Manage patient calls and prescriptions; schedule surgeries and follow-ups.
• Maintain clinic safety, OSHA/CLIA compliance and infection control.
