Job summary

UCNT is seeking a Regional Float Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple DFW-area urology clinics. The role rotates to cover staff absences, PTO, and ramp-ups, requiring quick adaptation to different layouts and provider preferences while maintaining patient flow.

The ideal candidate is a flexible CMA with strong communication and multitasking skills, capable of performing exams, specimen collection, injections, catheterization, and EHR

Qualifications

• Understanding of urology terminology and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize information to keep clinic operations organized.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to build positive working relationships across clinics visited.
• Sound judgment and discretion following established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Open clinics and manage patient flow and prep work at the designated workstation.
• Perform specimen collection, vital signs and urinalysis.
• Administer injections, draw blood, and catheterization with sterile technique.
• Prepare specimens for lab and manage charting in the EMR.
• Coordinate scheduling, prior authorizations and letters of medical necessity as needed.
• Maintain OSHA, CLIA logs, sterilization, and supply stock.
• Travel between UCNT clinics within the DFW region and communicate updates to leadership.
