Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative tasks including telephone customer service, word processing, transcribing, filing, and calendaring
  • Acts as the primary liaison for providers or programs and refers stakeholders to providers, agencies, patients, and staff
  • Schedules logistics and secures or distributes resources for program meetings, department events, conferences, and travel
  • Assists in coordinating the complex daily activities of providers or program(s) by entering information into databases, maintaining files and materials, and preparing reports
  • Serves as the primary contact and subject matter expert for specified program policies and procedures
  • Coordinates with senior management to define program goals and fiscal objectives
  • Identifies opportunities for program improvements and makes recommendations to the appropriate entities
  • Assists in coordinating the complex daily activities of faculty

Job Summary

The Department of Urology is looking for an Administrative Supervisor. This is a key administrative leadership position supporting programs and faculty in the Department of Urology. Our nationally recognized department advances the health of Wisconsin and beyond through our research, educational programs, and state-of-the art clinical treatments for urologic cancers and benign urologic conditions that significantly impact quality-of-life.

  • This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
  • This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations.The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.

Compensation:

The starting salary for the position is $60,000 annually; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
