comforcarecareers is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to support an elderly client at home in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on personal care, companionship, and light homemaker tasks according to a care plan.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and a valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation. Part-time schedule is 10AM–1PM, Monday through Friday, with training available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfers.

• Previous Home Health Aide Experience required, Training available

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Essential Functions:

• Personal Care
  • Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
• Companion/Sitter/Household Management
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family
• Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
• Client is a woman in her 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 3 to 3.5 hours hours daily Mon through Friday.
• Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job

Must be:

• Willing to keep client active
• Good at communicating
• Have driver's license and car
