Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Richmond/Glen Allen is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide personal care and homemaker services to clients in their residence. The role requires flexibility and involves assisting clients with daily activities, companionship, and light transportation tasks.

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients with various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Essential Functions

• Personal Care
  • Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
• Companion/Sitter/Household Management
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family
• Stand‑by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
• Client is a woman in her 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 2 hours daily.
• Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.
