A local home care service provider is urgently hiring a part-time Home Health Aide in York, South Carolina. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care tasks and providing companionship. URGENT HIRING

• Part Time
• 9 am to 11 am in the morning Monday through Friday
• Previous Home Health Aide Experience required, Training available

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Essential Functions

• Personal Care
  • Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
• Companion/Sitter/Household Management
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family
• Stand‑by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
• Client is a woman in her 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 2 hours daily.
• Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
