Job summary

Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve patients across Southern Prince George's County, Maryland, including Clinton, Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, Temple Hills, Suitland, Camp Springs, District Heights, Forestville, Marlow Heights, Accokeek, Friendly, and surrounding communities.

The COTA will work with an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain skills, confidence and independence for daily living.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland COTA license required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Home Health experience preferred but not required.
• OASIS knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with WellSky Home Health is a plus.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using WellSky.

What You'll Do
