Job summary

Human Touch Home Health seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Richmond area team serving Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Mechanicsville, and surrounding communities.

As a PRN COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and meaningful daily living skills. Flexible scheduling and continuous support from clinical leadership are highlighted in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia COTA license required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence.
• Assist patients with ADLs, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and therapeutic activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
