Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Fort Smith, AR is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs. The role involves performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties.

You will maintain patient safety and ensure quality imaging under supervisory guidance. Full-time schedule with rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and prepare exam room.
• Communicate wait times and next steps clearly.
• Assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Document vital signs, history and medications accurately.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and safe for imaging procedures.
• Maintain licensure and compliance for radiology equipment.
