Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in North Little Rock, AR is seeking experienced radiology technicians. This full‑time role performs x‑ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, and handles related medical assistant duties.

The position requires ARRT radiology certification or limited license x‑ray credentials and a current AR state license. Responsibilities include patient prep, safety protocols, vitals collection, and collaboration with providers to ensure timely care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X‑Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage the workflow in the exam room and x‑ray area.
• Communicate wait times and direct patients through the treatment process.
• Perform radiologic procedures and maintain patient safety and shielding procedures.
• Prepare and operate radiology equipment, develop film and ensure quality control.
• Document vitals, patient history, and other pertinent information in the chart.
• Assist with patient transfers and with procedures under supervision of a provider.
