MD Now in Florida is seeking an X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will perform vital signs, EKGs, and imaging per provider orders, while updating patient charts and documenting in the EHR. This role requires RT or BMXO/BMO licensure in-state, and a BLS certification within 30 days.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $3,500 and comprehensive benefits to eligible new hires. Hours run 8am–8pm, seven days a week, with incentive eligibility and career growth

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) is required.
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or BMXO/BMO license required in state residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKG’s, and administering IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and updates patient charts accordingly.
• Collect patient history and documenting EHR appropriately.
• You may apply splints, dressings and bandages.
• Assist with check-in/check-out when needed including auditing charts.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
