Veterinary Assistant

PetMedic in King of Prussia, PA

What You'll Do
  • Assist DVM and technicians with patient restraint and medical treatments
  • Communicate effectively with clinical team and clients
  • Comfortable with client education (reviewing medications, relaying treatment plans and discharge instructions)
  • Obtain radiographs and perform in-house bloodwork
  • Clean exam rooms and replenish inventory as needed
  • Answer telephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner
  • Warmly greet clients and provide exceptional service
  • Enter new client information into the computer system
  • Follow opening and closing procedures
  • Prepare client invoices for services performed
  • Handle payment transactions
  • Receive and relay telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly
