We are working on behalf of a well established, full service small animal hospital in Virginia Beach, VA that is looking to welcome an Urgent Care Veterinarian to its team.

The hospital has served the local community since 1986 and holds a 4.6 star Google rating, built on a reputation for treating every pet like family. Urgent care here sits inside a complete hospital rather than operating as a standalone clinic, so you have advanced diagnostics, surgical capability, and the wider medical team on hand when a case needs more than a quick workup.

Day to day you will lead the urgent care caseload with the autonomy to practice to your own standards, triage and stabilize same day presentations, and explain your findings clearly so owners can make confident decisions under pressure.

About You

• DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
• You hold, or are eligible for, licensure in Virginia and are in good standing
• Comfortable with triage, stabilization, and making decisions on same day cases
• Urgent care or emergency experience is welcome, as is a GP looking to move across
• Clear, calm communicator who can guide owners through an unplanned visit
