American Veterinary Group is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian for UrgentVet in Naperville, IL. This full-time role delivers after-hours care for canine and feline patients in a single-doctor clinic equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab tools.

You will work with a strong technical team, provide wound management, GI issues, and routine urgent care, while maintaining a relationship-focused approach with clients and the Chicago community.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college or completion of ECFVG/PAVE.
• Active license to practice in the state of employment or ability to obtain one.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Naperville, ILarea. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
