UrgentVet Hospitals in Naperville, IL is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our after-hours, single-doctor shifts. We provide care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting, and diarrhea, with cloud-based EMR and IDEXX in-house labs.

You will work with a strong technical team in a modern, paperless clinic; collaboration with the clinical team and leadership is encouraged, with flexible swing/second shifts and a focus on Fear Free, feline-friendly

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license to practice in the state of employment.
• Ability to provide urgent care in after-hours shifts.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Naperville, ILarea. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
