UrgentVet Brandon is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our after-hours, single-doctor practice in Brandon, FL. This full-time role focuses on urgent canine and feline cases, wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and end-of-day client care.

Work with a strong technical team in a paperless clinic equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital radiography, and IDEXX in-house labs. We offer flexible swing/second shifts, Fear Free care, feline-friendly practice, and a modern hospital

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college.
• Active license to practice in the state in which employed.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Tampa community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Brandon, FL area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
