UrgentVet Hospitals in Brandon, FL seeks an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join a single-doctor shift model, providing care for common urgent cases with a relationship-based approach.

We offer after-hours care in a paperless clinic equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital X-ray, and IDEXX in-house labs, with a strong technical team and mentorship opportunities.

The role features flexible schedules, twilight shifts, and a focus on fear-free, feline-friendly care within a modern hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the employing state (or eligibility to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Tampa community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours

Education

Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Brandon, FL area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
