Livewell Animal Urgent Care of East Nashville is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our urgent care team. You will triage, monitor, and stabilize patients under the supervision of a veterinarian, while communicating clearly with pet owners and supporting your colleagues in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program and a current state license in good standing, with one year of veterinary experience preferred,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• One year of experience in a veterinary setting preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Triage, stabilization, patient monitoring, and critical care under veterinarian supervision.
• Provide clear explanations to pet owners and review discharge instructions.
